Our client are a leading Integrity consultancy based in Aberdeen.

  • Supporting Technical Authorities in direct client integrity support;
  • Introduction to various worldwide operations covering onshore and offshore facilities;
  • Development of high-level integrity management documentation;
  • Be an inherent part of all RBI activities;
  • Support anomaly management, root cause analysis and fault finding;
  • Involvement in tender preparation and client-facing business development.
  • Report directly to the Integrity Manager in supporting clients with the management of their pressure systems integrity. This comprises the generation of written schemes of examination, degradation assessments, fitness for service assessments, anomaly identification/ classification, repair work planning, annual reporting, and periodic auditing;
  • Responsible for risk-based inspection and testing programme generation in conjunction with industry best practice and guidance;
  • Provide technical input and approval for pressure system inspection work packs and support the inspection execution through liaison with clients to co-ordinate and implement planned inspections and monitoring of pressurised equipment, pipework, pipelines, structures and fabric maintenance activities;

  • Candidate must have excellent work ethic, commitment and drive, attention to detail and ability to work individually or as a team member;
  • HND/HNC or BEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Process / Corrosion / Safety Engineering considered);
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and codes preferred e.g. PSSR, PSR, BS5500, ASME VII, TEMA, API 579/580, ASME B31.3, BS8010, API 6D);
  • Sound understanding of corrosion and non-corrosion degradation mechanisms and applicable modelling e.g. Hydrocor, Cassandra, NACE, API 571;
  • Conversant with relevant risk based software applications and maintenance management systems;
  • Excellent understanding of NDT techniques and technology;
  • Sound understanding of computer packages: Microsoft Office including Access and Project or other similar database and project management systems;
  • Conversant in AutoCAD;
  • Basic training: Confined Space, Working at Height, Permit to Work;
  • Experience in oil & gas production operations (offshore experience preferred) or process chemical industry exposure.
