We are seeking a Media Planner to join the Marketing Communication Division of the Corporate Communication Department.
The Media Planner is tasked for proactively and collaboratively identifying business objectives and translating them into media metrics and plans that will drive strategic marketing initiatives with impactful results. This position requires marketing and analytical skills, as well as a proven track record to develop media strategies to actively manage the planning and buying of media through all steps of the planning process.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, media, or a related field from a recognized university.
You will have at least 5 years of experience in media agencies such as Mindshare, mediacom, Universal McCann, Starcom, wavemaker, etc.
You will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
You will be able to adapt to multicultural environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Set specific communications objectives that align with the overall direction and business goals.
Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities to support campaign creations.
Plan and conduct market research to assess the communication strategy and the organization positioning.
Maximize the impact of advertising campaigns through the use of a range of media platforms.
Combine creative thinking with factual analysis to develop appropriate media strategies that ensure reaching the target audiences as effectively as possible.
Develop and maintain the Tactical Media Plan.
Develop budget allocations across media, with media mix scenarios.
Maintain and communicate up-to-date records of the implementation of the plan.
Provide research and analysis to manage various issues that arise in the execution of the tactical plan.
Ensure campaigns are delivering against KPIs and proactively managing campaign performance across digital and traditional media.
Develop strategy briefs and manage media planning while recommending forward-thinking strategies and innovations.
Track and measure campaign outcomes including marketing activities, response, and ROI.
Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products.
Help maintain the organization's corporate image and identity.
Prepare and present concise reports, proposals, and presentations.
Other principle duties as spelled out in the internal procedures documents of incumbents assigned to respective divisions within the organization.
