We are seeking a Creative Director to join the Communications and Partnerships Division of King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
Ithra is an all-purpose cultural destination, an environment for transformative experiences to unlock the power of potential through mastery in arts, science, literature, and innovation. Its mission focusses on advancing knowledge, creativity and cross-cultural engagement. Communications and Partnerships is responsible for providing all communication services for Ithra, including the Communication Unit, Marketing & Branding Unit, and Relation & Partnership Group.
As the head of a creative team, you will report to the head of the Marketing & Branding Unit and will work in establishing and maintaining the visual identity and brand of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, and will lead the execution of creative projects and communications.
As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Management from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
You will have 10 years of experience in maintaining visual identity and branding, along with knowledge of the creative sector and consumer behavior.
You will have to work closely with all members of the advertising, marketing, studio, communications, and programs functions to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
You will have the ability to work flexible working hours.
You must have Full English Professional Proficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Create and enforce the creative vision of the overall marketing communications project and provide all relevant teams and contractors with the creative direction to carry out the campaign, from the print to the digital, including multimedia and videos.
Maintain, update, and enforce the brand identity and guidelines across all touchpoints and users, in-house and contracted. Ensure all the visuals are consistent with the overall brand.
Establish creative guidelines and maintain the creative philosophy and strategies to direct the creative teams.
Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions and develop concepts for advertising or promotional campaigns.
Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of designers and creatives, steer/supervise creative copy and scripts, and oversee photo and video shoots.
Develop strategies and expansion opportunities.
Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines
Develop and manage the creative team.
Apply industry-best practices to new initiatives.
Maintain flexibility within rapidly shifting parameters of operation.
