My client is a global consultancy who work within the Petrochemical, energy from waste, Fuel storage & Handling, water & wastewater industries. They're recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work in the Ellesmere Port on a permanent basis

The role:
Reporting to the Projects Manager, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be joining an established and successful team of consultants and engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all relevant mechanical engineering requirements (legal, competent body, in-house and client) are completed to the highest standards.

- Significant experience in mechanical engineering within a project environment

- Experience working across the full project lifecycle (concept, FEED, detailed design, construction and commissioning)

- Experience of specifying mechanical equipment, specifically within the waste to energy or plastics to fuel industry

- Basic knowledge of CAD. Ideally with Plant3D

- Ability to influence and lead in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
