Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Planning & Performance (P&PM) Analyst to conduct financial consolidation and reconciliation for Domestic Refining & Natural Gas Liquid Fractionation (DR&NGLF) assets. The Analyst will perform impairment analysis, divestment case evaluation, enterprise valuation, business segmentation and cost allocation. Additionally, the job is to evaluate, review and develop business plans for wholly-owned DR&NGLF assets and review the financial statements of the domestic joint ventures.

Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:

A bachelor degree in finance, accounting or business.

At least 5 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in downstream refining.

A solid understanding of refining economics (ie. gross margin, marginal value, refining configuration).

Advanced skills in utilizing Microsoft Excel.

Excellent command of oral & written English.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to perform the following:

Carry out the financial consolidation of domestic wholly-owned refineries along the domestic joint- ventures.

Work closely with various stakeholders to submit refinery operational and financials, with focus on accuracy and enterprise deadlines.

Consolidation of annual business plan with focus on operational and financials (ie. income statement).

Develop various operational and financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis with focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Income statement and operational performance analysis with focus on variance explanation and qualitative commentary.

Perform impairment analysis using dynamic excel models for corporate and financial/accounting decision making.

Calculate and analyze various refining KPIs (Solomon KPIs) for benchmarking and performance management.
