American Protection Group (APG) is currently recruiting for the position of Manager of Offshore Operations to join this dynamic team of professionals to oversee Off Shore Security Operations and Cultivate and maintain professional and critical engagement with fortune 100 Oil & Gas executives and the applicable law enforcement communities and stakeholders related to.
65K to 200K per annum - Based upon Qualifications and Experience.

Masters Degree [MBA] in a related field and
10 years of related work and management experience or certifications (see below)
Verifiable service as a Law Enforcement Executive or Military Officer
10 + years as a law enforcement executive and 5 + years as a military officer with documented field management to include budgetary compliance.
Some College course work with 10 + years of Directly related experience to include more than 7 years of Maintaining and cultivating relationships, security, and large scale operations management.
Successful employment as an Offshore Installation Manager or successful employment in leadership and supervision with an OffShore component AND 10+ years of management of a diverse working group.
Bachelor's Degree with 15 + years of combined relevant experience as described above.
Off Shore or Big Oil, Experience desired and will receive preference.
CPR, First Aid, Advanced First Aid, Tactical Med, Trauma, AED, (EMT - highly preferred) PMP, CFE, CIG, Vessel Security Officer, Maritime Security Officer, Coxain, Shipwright, ANP Mechanic, Offshore Security Professional, MBA, JD, MLS, STCW Deck Officer Certificate Class 1/ STCW II/2 UL - Master Certificate, Unlimited DP-Certificate (for DP-rig/vessel), Ship Security Officer certificate as per STCW Regulation VI/5, Documented minimum 24 months practical experience as Chief Officer from mobile units, Documented good all-round competence relating to the platform's different systems with particular emphasis on all systems relating to hull and stability, Management experience and competence required, Fluent written/oral English language
Retired or honorably separated ICE, CBP, and or Military Officers are Encouraged to apply.
Ability to travel for extended periods of time both planned and without sufficient notice (deployment periods can be from 30 days on, 30 days off or 6 months on, 6 months off)
Ability to understand and interpret maritime regulations, policies, and laws pursuant to offshore operations and applicable personnel
Theoretical and working knowledge of offshore security operations; including risk management and solutions to risk
Theoretical and working knowledge of conducting threat assessments and reporting post-assessment findings in a consumable format
Experience leading a diverse workforce
Theoretical and working knowledge of offshore operations and management of offshore assets
Understanding of the big oil industry to include metrics for KPI and indexing for big oil target goals
Successful risk management and risk abatement solutions
Understanding of large working group scheduling and logistics pertaining to the management of a large working group
Executive level communications ability and skill
Successful history of Pristine customer service and customer relations ability
Experience in conflict management and resolution
Experience in operations investigations and personnel management
Tactical leadership and assessments
Successful implementation of transportation security principals to include large scale asset movements
Theoretical and working knowledge of comprehensive safety and security levies that affect risk-based outcomes
Experienced in military-style weapons with the proficiencies in stressful environments
Able to take orders with leadership abilities
