We are recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor for our activities in Iraq, Basra to supervise the electrical works and ensure they are performed in compliance with HSE requirements, project schedule, budget and as per project drawings, specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilites: 

  • Verifying electrical works (cable trays laying and cable pulling, terminations and meggering, equipment installation, mechanical completion checks) are carried out in compliance with project drawings, specifications and applicable international codes and standards.                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Verifying that utilised bulk materials are certified and in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards
  • Verifying electrical works are executed according to project schedule and budget, highlighting any deviations and suggesting recovery actions
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting and technical solutions
  • Validating electrical works progress
  • Ensuring electrical works punch lists are properly detected, integrated within the Mechanical Completion master punch list and cleared

  • EIBV Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying EIBV Safety Management Systems
  • Ensuring EIBV Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Policy is included in all Contracts

Skills:

  • IT: good knowledge of MS Office Package, preferred knowledge of Mechanical Completion management softwares
  • Facilities: basic knowledge of main process schemes for oil and gas treatment. Good knowledge of electrical distribution, power generations systems, , applicable electrical standard and specifications, plants construction and commissioning
  • Quality: basic knowledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems            
  • HSE: basic knowledge of construction and commissioning HSE requirements and standards implementation
