I am currently looking for a Business Development Manager to come work for one of the biggest power generation companies in the Middle East to work on a brand new venture here in Qatar.

This will be a long term residential position based in Qatar. We are looking for someone that will come in and analyze the renewable energy market and seek out new business opportunities for the company as well as set out objectives and strategies for the new business venture.

Set out objectives and strategies for investment in renewable energy technologies.
Develop Business Plans to implement these strategies. And Contribute to business development, including
identification of key drivers, scoping, proposal development, and relationship management
Collaborate with Development Managers to provide project support for development, design and cost
estimation activities
Assist Development Managers with technical aspects of customer presentations
Assist Development Managers in writing and preparing exhibits for proposals and contracts
Assist with the preparation of the project cost estimating sheets
Perform system energy modeling and energy estimates using solar design software
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements;
tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials;
evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company
strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
Assist with solar PV design optimization for cost reduction and performance improvement
Develop technical specifications and scopes of work for engineering firms and contractors, and review
Supplier/Vendor data sheets
Provide on-site support for solar PV system commissioning, troubleshooting, power quality site analysis,
and remediation.
Closes new business deals by evaluating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating
contract requirements with business operations.
Ensuring compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
