Kintec Recruitment is currently seeking a Sales Engineer with a background in chemical engineering for a staff position with our client, a leading Oil & Gas company, in the Netherlands.
The position will be supporting the sales and marketing of the company's proprietary technology, a suite of software used in the design of furnaces, and will be responsible for supporting new and existing users.
Key responsibilities will include:
Marketing software products both to new and existing clients.
Conducting market analysis and developing a vision of where the market is heading.
Keeping abreast of new market developments and adjusting the marketing strategy accordingly.
Developing and improving marketing material to promote software products.
Working closely with legal department to make offers to clients.
Investigating the needs of new and existing customers for new functionality and translating into development proposals.
Providing after sales services and acting as first point of contact for clients
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years in process engineering or technical sales of process related software
Previous experience working with ethylene plant projects desirable
Excellent English language skills
