This position supports Halliburton's Athlon product service line. It is based in the Wever, IA area.
The Field Service Representative is responsible for providing technical assistance and service at assigned territory accounts to enhance the productivity of the Athlon team and maintain customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act safely in all aspects of the job, including the operation and maintenance of the company provided vehicle and compliance with all Athlon and customer site specific safety policies.
- Provide and document onsite service to assigned accounts
- Developing a good understanding of all lab tests, and begin to develop the ability to interpret customer laboratory results, recommend any chemical feed rate adjustments, maintain product inventory and test reagent inventories.
- Assist with chemical deliveries and transfers
- Diagnose, repair or adjust chemical feed equipment and be able to provide basic training to customers in these techniques.
- Calculate chemical demand based on operating parameters and adjust chemical dosages when necessary
- Begin to understand the basic process flows for the units assigned
- Uncover and report customer needs to appropriate Athlon leadership
- Complete required Athlon training and documentation on time.
- Interfaces well with unit operators
- High School Diploma, or GED
- An undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering is with 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience is highly preferred.
