Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Heavy DutyOEM & Industry Liaison located in Shanghai, China

Job Responsibilities:

The OEM and Industry Liaison for China holds primary responsibility for relationships with HD OEMs on Automotive Engine Oils and representing Oronite in key China industry associations. The role requires frequent travel primarily within China and occasionally to Europe, US or other regions.

Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain relationships with HD OEMs in China per Oronite strategy

• Develops OEM engagement strategies and execution plans

• Identify HD OEM trends and industry drivers that may impact Oronite's technologies and product offerings

• Manage co-operation project with specific HD OEM

• Negotiate product approvals with OEMs

• Represent Oronite Technology at industry meetings

• Understand and communicate the industry drivers for new additive technologies

• Obtain HD OEM acceptance and approvals of Oronite additive technologies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (technical or business) and preferably additional MA/MSc qualifications or

• 3+ years in lubes or fuels at an HD OEM or similar experience in an development lab

• Experience with additives is desirable, but not essential

• Excellent commercial and business acumen ideally developed in related markets

• Proven background and capability in negotiation and influencing key decision makers

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Personal and professional interest in HD engine and industry developments

• Ability to work and build relationships with people within a wide scope of personalities and backgrounds
