The role is to perform routine maintenance work and periodic inspection to achieve the Business goals safely, reliably and in a cost-effective way.
This position calls for a person who not only needs to be very committed to Safety (walking the talk, visible engagement etc), but also discerning and persuading skills to get the job done in a simple but safe manner.
Job Responsibilities:

Support the mechanical maintenance team to execute plant-wide maintenance work.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Safe Operations
Ensures job safety analysis (JSA) for all maintenance work performed in the Plant. Maintain a JSA inventory.
Generates interest in critical safety behavior program (CSB) and review and follow up on the findings.
Participates in work permit audit review (WOPAR) to highlight safety concerns.
Responsible for good housekeeping in the Workshop and Plant.
Responsible for Safe Work Practices in all maintenance jobs and critical lifts .

Reliability and Efficiency
Participate annual Plant Turnaround (TA) planning and scheduling, including safety performance, detailed planning, budget and quality of the TA..
Carry out all the preventive maintenance activities, which are listed on preventive maintenance and periodic check tank, pump, motor and steam system
Provide routine maintenance inspection to ensure the plant facilities working properly.
Responds to unplanned equipment failure during and after office hour.
Assist maintenance lead to manage the plant measure device, finish the periodic calibration and hose management.

Third Party Services
Manage and coordinate with Contractors maintenance activities in the plant.

Incident investigation
Participate maintenance related incident investigation.
Follows up with maintenance related recommendations.

COST REDUCTION
Follow strategies, establishes cost metrics and measure maintenance (Mechanical) cost performance.
Follow maintenance (Mechanical) and TA budget.
Monitors spending and identifies opportunities to improve cost performance.

Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Ensure safety first during routine work;
Strong understanding of principles and conduct in-depth mechanical maintenance activities;
Know spare parts management well;
Working experience on mechanical maintenance would be preferred;
Ability to work systematically, prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.
