Cost Controller

Operational awareness: Attend operations meetings (monthly, quarterly meetings)
Compliance: Ensures proper compliance with cost control processes both in quality and timeliness Ensure compliance towards relevant SOX controls
Continuous improvement: Develops, implements and facilitates processes and improvement initiatives inside the Cost Control team Cost Analysis: Ensures correct classification of cost (OPEX/CAPEX/ABEX/EXPLO)
Monitor of actual costs incurred for all monthly, quarterly and annual closures Analyzing spending progress
Monitoring external and internal (ICP) expenses Performs reconciliation of data, e.g. time writing
Provides inputs to monthly reviews of the Cost Control data with Budget Holder and variance commentary
Provides answers to questions and requests of analysis on the activity under responsibility (costs, allocation, time-writing and RFS)
Identifies and plans actions required with Budget Holders on areas of spend to be challenged
Contributes to the elaboration of the budgets and financial forecasts of the department/activity under responsibility
Master data management: Ensure creation and integrity to the WBS and Cost Center structure
Control account assignment on commitments
Month-end closing: Ensures correct accruals for internal and external expenses (incl. Prepayments) Ensures execution of allocations within area of responsibility
Monthly reporting: Ensures overviews for relevant financial keys (actuals, budget, KPI´s, PDC) Ensures overviews financial keys on relevant level (cost center, WBS, work order)
Ensures overviews financial keys for relevant areas (OPEX/CAPEX/ABEX/EXPLO, EXP800, minor licenses) Develops and maintains reports in SAP to monitor expenditures against Budgets, Forecasts and AFEs as
Qualifications/Experience required
Bachelor or Master degree within relevant area Master English in writing and verbal
Good stakeholder management skills SAP knowledge
