We are currently recruiting a Safety Manager for Eni Versalis (Dunastyr) based on Százhalombatta, Hungary. The main duties of the role will be to establish company safety objectives and programs in line with the guidelines received from the mother company, monitoring and checking their implementation and maintenance with the aim of improving safety performance.

The Key responsibilities are:
  • Acquiring permits for facilities, machines and equipment.
  • Safety and fire protection education and training of new employees and subcontractors, keep continuative trainings for employees.
  • Keeping updated the evacuation plan, fire alarm plan, disaster prevention and control plan, and occupational safety related company procedures and operational instructions, in line with the legal requirements considering the company's expectations.
  • Preparing, keeping updated, and checking the application of security regulations according to the company's expectations.
  • Organization of disaster control, fire alarm and evacuation drills.
  • Making proposals for the prevention of occupational incidents, accidents and near misses.
  • Monitoring possible and actually occurred non-conformities, elaboration of corrective or preventive measures to eliminate the causes and to avoid similar cases regarding safety.
  • Collecting, monitoring and controlling measurement data of occupational safety check-ups.
  • Preparation for and participation in QHSE external and internal audits and authorities' inspections.

Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor diploma in engineering with specialization in occupational health and safety and fire protection.
  • Knowledge of English is essential.
  • Hungarian as mother tongue.
