Competentia is seeking a Contracts Administrator for a position in Houston, TX supporting a large oil & gas operating client:

Summary of Project:
Currently seeking high-energy professionals who are detail-oriented with sound business acumen and influencing skills to join our dynamic organization as a Contract Assistant. -Support contract requirements for S&T's domestic and international trading business
-Reviews, identifies and labels incoming contract correspondence and email, handles routine matters
-Electronically confirm crude and products contracts in ICE eConfirm
-Manage routine Crude Oil and Refined Products contracts
-Manage routine Natural Gas Liquids contracts
-Maintains various accesses to shared information, i.e. shared folders, contact lists, SharePoint, etc.
-Complete monthly team Self-Audit of Contracts
-Support internal contract compliance reporting requirements
-Special projects as requested.

Required Qualifications:
-Proficient to expert knowledge of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
-Team player and ability to work in fast-paced environment
-Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
-Must have strong initiative and be able to take action on routine matters
-Be able to handle all activities with high confidentiality and high level of independence
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Digital mindset and innovative thinker
-Believe in getting results the right way

Preferred Qualifications:
-Contracts experience
-Oil and gas industry experience
-Ability to handle last-minute changes quickly, acting with a sense of urgency
-Accuracy and follow-up are crucial
