Role Summary:

Develop and maintain software used by geoscience analysts to process, analyze, and interpret data collected by LWD and wireline instruments. We have a very large body of code that must be maintained and enhanced. We also need new software to meet ever changing requirements and new services. You will participate in architecture, design, coding, and testing tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Director - Software Engineering, you will:
  • Design, refactor, and write software to visualize recorded logging data. Users will interact with the software in order to manipulate data or associate points on the displays with parameters used to control processing

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years writing scientific software
  • Minimum of 5 years writing interactive graphical data display software

Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in MFC
  • Experience writing Fortran code
