My oil & gas client in Hampshire is recruiting for an Intern Pipeline Engineer on an ongoing contract basis. Rates negotiable.


Essential Skills:
" Enthusiasm to work and develop your career in the Pipelines Engineering Department within the Oil and Gas industry
" Demonstrate initiative, tenacity and excellent communication skills
" Possess an ability to learn quickly and be adaptable and flexible to match business requirements
" Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment

Desirable Skills:
" Familiar (or keen to become familiar) with Wall Thickness Calculations, On-bottom Stability Analysis, Free Span Analysis,
" On - bottom Roughness Analysis
" Subsea/Pipeline Engineering background (if PhD qualified)
" Software such as ANSYS / ABAQUS / SolidWork o AutoCad o Orcaflex will be used during the work (previous knowledge is not required)

Qualification: Graduate Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering),
" PhD in Pipeline and/or Subsea Engineering would be highly advantageous.
