Role Summary:

The Supply Chain Business Process Leader is a key role in the M&C Materials & Logistics Center of Excellence (CoE). You will implement and improve a standard supply chain/sourcing blueprint across the business. You will drive common processes / metrics across the enterprise and institute a single face to the customer.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Supply Chain Business Process Leader, you will:
  • Define key value streams within operations that will have the greatest impact on global supply chain processes
  • Be an integral team member and support implementation of the M&C OTD operating framework
  • Transform the business & enable organic and inorganic growth via process simplification
  • Subject matter expert for designing & driving common processes for supply chain globally
  • Improve and implement a global template for the business processes and manage the integrity by acting as a gatekeeper for the global template
  • Effectively engage subject matter experts from the business function and translate their needs to solutions with high impact to business and/or its customers
  • Train & assist the product line Functional leads on processes, SAP transactions and other aspects of the blueprint
  • Engage with other functions to understand how their decisions will impact supply chain and vice-versa. The team is responsible for delivering processes that are fully integrated between functions
  • Own the User acceptance testing and provide all the signoff's for key blueprint enhancements.
  • Own the end user in terms of training strategy, delivery and the associated change management
  • Manage functional communications and escalations
  • Proactive issues management and project risks resolution
  • Understand and align business processes with overall organizational priorities
  • Change Agent to drive ERP adoption across the function and global organization
  • Analyze, develop strategies and manage ERP changes resulting from acquisitions, legal entity & roof top consolidations

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Materials, Sourcing, and / or Manufacturing

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel up to 50% of the time globally, as required

Desired Characteristics:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials, Sourcing, and / or Manufacturing
  • Proven ability to challenge status quo and influence cross-functionally and globally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: able to clearly identify and link relevant data to performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Strong business process knowledge; experience with SAP and reporting tools such as Tableau
  • Successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvements; able to quickly grasp new ideas
  • Excellent communication skills; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
  • Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; ability to approach business leaders with difficult messages, defend position & drive change
  • Solid understanding of wing to wing supply chain processes and transactional flows
  • Adaptable/flexible with a can-do attitude: being open to pivot in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Deep understanding of both flow and engineered to order (ETO) businesses
  • Knowledge of lean principles and experience implementing best practices with proven results
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to effectively thrive in a matrix organization
  • Experience developing strategic plans and implementing with successful, measurable outcomes
  • APICS certification
  • Master Black Belt (MBB), Black Belt (BB), Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Leadership program/CAS graduate (Internal employees only)
