Assembly, re-dress and service tools by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other duties may be assigned as required by supervisor and other management personnel
- Assembly of downhole tools
- Dismantles surface tools to send to outside vendor for service as required
- Re-dresses service tools
- Services wireline tools
- Repairs or replaces defective parts
- Lubricates and cleans parts
- Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other tools to make and repair parts
- Observe housekeeping requirement

Requires high school education and at least three to five years related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and/or complete routine reports as needed.
Ability to apply concepts of basic math, algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work under a minimum of supervision. Ability to read and understand instructions as they pertain to assembly of inflatable packers or related downhole tools.
