Summary of Responsibilities
Provide on-site service support to customers in the installation and service of downhole tools. Provide support to Sales and other areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide on-site client services by using inflatable packers or other downhole tools on either a rental or sales basis.
- Determine that site is in acceptable condition for running tools and taking corrective action as necessary.
- Run TAM tools on customer job sites, which may include instructing customer's employees or other personnel on how to run tools according to the specific requirements of each tool being run.
- Assist TAM personnel in service-related or sales issues or questions.
- Perform general maintenance duties, either at the customer location or TAM office.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

College or technical school degree preferred and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be knowledge of hydraulics calculations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work under a minimum of supervision. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as they pertain to assembly of inflatable packers or related downhole tools. Must have knowledge of hydraulic systems, seals, and packing. Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Word and Excel and MRP or related systems. Familiarity with computer networks and e-mail.
