Your Knowledge and Expertise
 
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline * 5-15 years' experience in the refining, petrochemical or power generation industries * Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals ranging from solid mechanics to basic fluid flow and heat transfer * Proficiency with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code and ASME piping codes * Professional experience with finite element analysis and/or computational fluid dynamics * Professional experience with applications of fracture mechanics for fracture and fatigue crack growth * Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

 

 

 

 

 
Desired Skills
 
* Familiarity with American Petroleum Institute standards related to fitness-for-service, specifically Level 3 assessments * Experience with flow and acoustic induced vibration * Experience with nonlinear FEA (contact, large deformation, nonlinear materials) * Experience with cyclic plasticity, fatigue and creep assessments * Experience with piping analysis software such as Caesar II * Experience with programming languages such as VBA to create customized tools for engineering calculations and data analysis We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) plans with company match.
