We are seeking a Supervising Technical Process Control Systems to work under Northern Area Gas Producing Department serving Karan, Arabiyah and Hasbah offshore gas facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The incumbent is responsible for all planned/scheduled repairs or maintenance of plant process control systems, including fault diagnosis, field repair by subassembly replacement or control loop tuning, installation and commissioning of new equipment.
You will supervise, give work direction and technical assistance to assigned work crew.
The successful candidate should hold a formal training and certifications related to the job.
Minimum of 15 years of oil and gas industry experience in process control and measurement systems maintenance with at least 4 years in high pressure sour gas offshore fields with an operating company.
Able to direct and organize contract personnel involved on T&I and shutdowns.
Experience in maintenance of communication systems, process CCTV, fire and gas detectors, flowmeters (venturi, orifice, ultrasonic), common type of protocols OPC, Profibus, or Modbus for interfacing of serial or Ethernet connectivity between devices, Siemens PCS7 and Yokogawa Prosafe logic solvers, supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA), safety systems, Electrical PLC's, Prosafe safety systems programmable logic controllers, field instrumentations, and STATCOM.
Safety oriented mindset and have worked in safety conscious work environment.
Willing to work in remote offshore locations.
Able to supervise a multi-national work force.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Perform very highly skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of plant process control systems
Direct and organize contract personnel involved on T&I and shutdowns.
Organize and coordinate work assignments and activities of field technicians, considering maintenance schedules and operational priorities.
Plan and implement preventative maintenance and diagnostic procedures based on vendor technical information and manufacturer's specifications.
Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring of field technicians, and maintain records of their work accomplishments.
Maintain and adhere to high safety standards required for gas production fields.
