Role Summary:

The BH Central Asia Leader is responsible for leading overall horizontal Baker Hughes in Central Asia i.e. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia. This involves developing a winning growth strategy for the markets, increasing profitability, managing cost, improving cash collection, overall functional oversight.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead, create demand, develop business and grow Baker Hughes in assigned geography
  • Build strong customer relationships; the position is a client facing role, thus requires maintaining a strong customer relationship across multiple levels
  • Support operations efficiently, while focusing on eliminating operational waste and cost discipline
  • Manage industry affairs and interface with local authorities, government agencies and local professional bodies
  • Promote and Lead BH policies, standards and commitment to Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Compliance
  • Work closely with the regional teams (Functions, Product Companies, Regional Leadership team) to identify synergy/growth opportunities
  • Nurture and develop a pool of local talents in close partnership with the Product Company organization
  • Be the voice of the customer. Entails efficient dealing of complaints to completion and enabling satisfaction of customer.
  • Maximize the value proposition of BH wide portfolio and the strength of our product companies
  • Envisions ways of operating and achieving goals that do not currently exist in response to challenges and market opportunities
  • Creates and maintains a collaborative working relationship with the teams regionally and globally
  • Provides business, industry, and competitor insights to develop strategies to support business growth and profitability
  • Drives large-scale cultural change, employee engagement and development in support of organizational goals
  • Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business, operations, or a technical /engineering discipline
  • 10 or more years of combined overall experience in Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Commercial Operations in Oil & Gas Industry, Oilfield Services industry is preferable
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role's location
