Role Summary:

The Execution Assignment Planner will work closely with AMERICAS Resource Managers (RM), Service Managers (SM), the assignment CoE in Florence, mobilization team and P&L teams to achieve operational excellence in the assignment of Field Service Engineers (FSE). He will be also supporting Operation Outage Excellent on Preparation and Readiness.

In His Role, he will be responsible mainly for the timely fulfillment of all FSE requests across the region, identification of FSE demand gaps, look after operation outage excellent for top outages assuring flawless readiness& support mobilization immigration team.

Key focus areas are quality of responsive assignments, optimization& utilization.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Execution Assignment Planner, you will:
  • The timely fulfillment of NAM and MX FSE requests & guarantee data quality & On-Time Assignment
  • Evaluate all factors which drive the assignment of FSEs considering technical and soft skills, project priority, mobilization feasibility, economic impact, internal policy, FSE's availability, regionalization policy, FSE team member compatibility and FSE growing opportunities and resource's skill optimization (jointly with the RMs & SMs)
  • Track Field Engineer job assignments and do the corresponding assignment adjustments in the system
  • Provide "look ahead" reports on availability of resources per skills and per country
  • Perform capacity analysis and identify opportunities to optimize utilization: for example, look for resources in other pools or contractors and communicate to the RM & SM, if some FSEs are idle, the assignment planner will need to identify assignment opportunities in the region or elsewhere to fill the gaps
  • Identify suitable backup plans to cover unplanned or unexpected needs
  • Work closely with Assignment COE in Florence, Regional Resource Managers& Service Managers assuring right skill assign to right tasks
  • Develop and maintain operating rhythm with Installation managers, CPMs and CSMs to review FSE assignments
  • Ensuring to provide best in class fulfillment and execution for customers & work closely with the resources / services management teams to assure overall operational excellence across the region
  • Apply Outage Excellence process on all Top Outages under CSA and critical TX outages in the region
  • Responsible for review outage excellence process, look ahead plan and IBAS data quality
  • Mentor & develop a pipeline successor talent for the region
  • Drive HSE culture ingrained in Outage Planning and Readiness
  • Support OPEX leadership on CS extra work and convertibility
  • Support optimization of Field Services external cost (FSE, Manpower, Tooling)
  • Review / analyze the LL and ensure implementation during execution
  • Adopting Multi skill program & Smart Mod / Demob to optimize outages cost
  • Support mid / post outage reviews and the implementation of the action plan results
  • Collaborate with process & tools team to drive tools alignment and adoption
  • Collect and share with COE regional feedback on new tools and processes
  • Work with mobilization CoE & Immigration team to ensure assignment plans are compliant with visa and work permit needs
  • Keep regular meetings with local third parties/contractor company representatives
  • Be the Baker Hughes sponsor for a team of contractors FSEs making sure a correct update of the bio-data & competency data base in the system, maintain their access to the company tools, take care of their technical certification and manage the provision of company assets
  • Maintain timing and clear communication with internal clients and suppliers
  • Apply CoE procedures and use of CoE tools, which are necessary for identifying the most adequate FSE to fulfill the requests
  • Familiar with Service Max & Primavera application and E-tools

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and minimum 5 years of experience in Field Operations)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Field Operations

  • Travel up to 25% of the time, as required
