Role Purpose:

The Document Controller will provide documentation for shop floor execution, collate and upload maintenance documentation after technical review. Supporting the maintenance operation with sourcing and registration of new assets.

Will liaise with a cross functional team to close out technical punch list items and continuously improve root causes of defective documentation/ maintenance data.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • To review maintenance documentation pack prior to digitizing and upload to maintenance system.
  • Manage expectations for documentation issues in your assigned area.
  • Provide technical packets for execution on the shop floor.
  • Maintain process documentation and processes for compliance to global quality management system.
  • Drive a continuous improvement within documentation and maintenance data, identify and drive defects with corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain familiarity with manufacturing test equipment in order to provide accurate documentation

  • Liaise and resolve any complex queries with regards to maintenance data.
  • Support operations with sourcing and registration of new assets.

Principal Accountabilities:

Test Equipment Planning:
  • Registration and communication of newly sourced equipment.
  • Provide technical packets for execution on the shop floor.

Test Equipment Maintenance:
  • Review maintenance documentation packets for completion
  • Digitize maintenance documentation packets and upload to maintenance registry
  • Maintenance of database data

  • Purchasing of indirect items to support Maintenance Shop

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Experience in Technical Document Control
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management and diverse audiences.
  • Attention to details, excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and good personal organization skills
  • Proficient in software applications MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel are a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in fluent English
