Primary Purpose of Job

Responsible for engineering, tender package preparation, technical evaluation of bids, project management, execution and implementation of electrical systems projects and plant changes. Responsible for assessing requirements for electrical systems enhancements and upgrades and for setting plans to implement the upgrades. Provides specialized engineering and technical support to asset holder and prepares, evaluates and manages relevant technical support contracts.


B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering, from accredited university followed by engineering and specialised courses on electrical systems , electrical protection relays/circuits, special courses on turbomachinery and generator control systems.

Experience & Skills

Minimum of 8 years experience in an oil, gas or petrochemical industry Electrical systems applications, out of which 5 years as Sr. Electrical Engineer preferably in operations engineering or Technical services department.
