Role Summary/Purpose

In this role, you will be the primary HR point of contact for management and employees in Massa Plant. Providing leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource functions and including all aspects of professional relations, hourly relations, employee benefits, compensation, employee involvement, practices, training, organizational change and development and communications for a client group.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Partner with client managers to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives
  • Provide strategic coaching to people leaders related to talent identification and selection, succession planning, merit planning and performance management
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees related to career development
  • Work with leaders and employees to create a positive and contemporary work environment that respects every employee
  • Partner effectively with our HR Centers of excellence in People Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and OT&D
  • Promote internal mobility and support external recruiting where required
  • Manage relations with local unions rep., grievances and disciplinaries as well as compliance investigations
  • Drive engagement and development of our employees
  • Leverage analytics tool to design & implement HR strategies and drive the execution with rigor
  • Promote a diverse and inclusion environment within the assigned groups

  • Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university in related area or similar with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a HR senior generalist supporting a diverse client group

  • Ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive / diverse workforce
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting multiple functions
  • Confidence to voice opinions & ideas and willingness to deliver tough feedback / coaching to leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience
  • Analytical mindset & digital capability (proficiency with Workday and HR data analytics tool)
