Baker Hughes is looking for a Global ARMO Leader for our Wireline Services team headquartered at the Rankin Road facility in Houston, TX. Reporting to the Vice President of Wireline Services, this position will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our ARMO operations including, but not limited to materials management, sustaining engineering, business support, digitalization, purchasing, planning, equipment management and continuous improvement across the globe.

The person in this role must be comfortable working with ambiguity, have a proven track record of hiring, developing and growing talent, strong leadership presence and demonstrate outstanding communication skills - specifically, have the ability to translate technical vision, roadmaps and decisions into a clear, inspiring story that enables the organization to quickly align and drive results.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and vision for Global ARMO and enabling the sites to tactically execute
  • Development of new preventive and corrective maintenance program
  • Design, develop and implement a predictive maintenance program
  • Responsible for financial and operational condition based maintenance program
  • Responsible for the digital transformation of Global WS ARMO
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and engineering efforts including, but not limited to cost reduction, lean and value engineering
  • Responsible for New Product Introduction into ARMO
  • Responsible for the financial and operational ARMO metrics globally
  • Responsible for oversight and enforcement of all HS&E, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, HR, Financial and Compliance policies that relate to area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for oversight and enforcement of all compliance with company policies and procedures, including inventory and asset management
  • Responsible for the management of the ARMO Hubs and Operational spokes around the globe
  • Collaborate in creating and maintaining the ARMO documentation
  • Manage and provide oversight to personnel development and ensure proper succession planning
  • Oversee planning and implementation of the business plan
  • Participate actively in quality and reliability improvement efforts


  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent university degree or combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in an ARMO supervisory role in oilfield services
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Experience managing a large global team
  • Experience managing change at a global scale

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • Experience managing a P&L
  • Previous operations experience in oilfield services in WS or DS preferred
  • Previous SAP experience is desired
