Role Summary:

The Global Supply Chain Finance Manager (m/f/d) is an important position on the Inspection Technologies Finance team. He or she will work very closely with the Executive Supply Chain Manager and the operational team to improve the overall performance of the business and strengthen the foundation on which the business operates

Essential Responsibilities:

The Global Supply Chain Finance Manager (m/f/d) for the Inspection Technologies business is an important leadership role on the finance team. The person identified for this role will have exposure to Inspection Technologies supply chain leadership and ample interactions with the rest of the Finance team. In addition, this person will be responsible for:
  • Provide financial leadership to the supply chain team
  • Drive analysis through quarter close activities such as variable cost productivity, cost of quality, capacity & utilization, inventory, on-time delivery & overdue backlog, standard costing
  • full ownership of Capex planning and tracking
  • coordinate GSC op mechs with Supply Chain leader (drive clear definitions & standardization of metrics, own construction & maintenance of review templates, facilitate simplification & automatization of data collection / analysis)
  • Drive global initiatives & programs
  • Provide insightful analytics for better operational decision making and influence supply chain leaders to make strategic decisions
  • Analyze results and report key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
  • Leverage and improve use of supply chain metrics and coach leadership with data and for their decision making
  • Drive and own process improvement projects in Finance and cross-functionally
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Significant experience of financial work experience
  • Strong influencing, teamwork, communication and critical thinking skills
  • Proactive personality with a "can-do" attitude
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications
  • Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/BH Values
  • Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
  • Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas.
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment
  • Basic understanding of financial compliance
  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
  • Graduate of Leadership Program (FMP / ASPIRE)
