Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Reliability/Mechanical Engineer, to join our Khurais Producing Department (KhPD).

KhPD operates and maintains one of largest crude stabilization, oil, and gas separation plants with their associated utilities facilities in addition to a large network of piping in Southern Area Oil Operations (SAOO). The department is responsible for producing and processing Oil, Gas and NGL from Khurais and Central Arabia oil fields in a safe, efficient, reliable and cost effective manner.

Your primary role will see you responsible for rotating equipment reliability for the facilities under this department.

Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MS is preferred.
A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C. Eng.) license or registration is desirable.

You must have minimum 9 years' experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or similar process industry.

You must have extensive experience in rotating equipment and reliability function.

You should have comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in troubleshooting and investigation, failure mode analysis and familiar with reliability programs.

You should have full knowledge of international standards and practices related to maintenance and reliability.

You should hold valid internationally recognized professional certifications such as CMRP or any reliability certificate.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:

Be the focal point of contact, responsible for any critical or major equipment trouble shooting or failure analysis.

Conduct meetings and collect all information necessary (process, vibration, assembly, etc.) to complete investigations.

Review and update maintenance strategy annually to optimize equipment maintenance tasks (decide which equipment should be under PM, PdM, or Proactive).

Review machinery repair procedures and work scopes in coordination with the workshops.

Review T&I scope and add any work if needed on rotating equipment during the T&I.

Identify new technologies and techniques to assist the organization in shifting from a preventive mode into a proactive mode.

Review engineering request packages for any machinery modifications or upgrade and provide comments.

Calculate and update the monthly and YTD asset KPI's.

Issue our reliability program monthly report (MTBF, bad actors, etc.) updating the equipment health progress, and reporting failures and successes.

Establish an asset's fault analysis database ensuring all data, drawings, and information are complete and all modifications are updated

Investigate trips on critical equipment to identify root causes and recommend solutions.

Oversee the PM, PdM, PaM and RCM programs.

Perform life cycle cost for bad actors and repairs.
