Role Summary

The Asset Maintenance Manager (AMM) will effectively manage AM and facilities for the FPS Onshore business. The AMM will be fully responsible for the day-to-day management of both areas whilst leading the development and implementation of manufacturing improvements in his/her area to ensure a consistent and strong performance from the whole manufacturing team in line with Operating Plan. Where required the the Asset Maintenance Manager will represent BH Polyflow in dealings with customers and suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Actively support and engage in all EHS activity, Company policies and procedures to ensure staff are fully compliant
  • Develop and maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors
  • Drive a relentless focus on the cost of quality and adherence to the QMS
  • Ensure 100% compliance to Quality Control & Quality Assurance
  • In collaboration with the projects and engineering function, create and implement best-in-class design to manufacture and change management processes
  • Develop and maintain systems for effective monitoring and improvement of skills and competencies along with the development of training plans
  • Ensure all employees are trained & competent for all tasks undertaken
  • Develop, monitor and report on performance against KPIs
  • Focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness to optimize performance
  • Maintain strict budgetary control for the relevant cost centers
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement programs for all areas of performance including EHS, Quality and Throughput
  • Implement effective risk management
  • Drive effective leadership of all employees in the areas of responsibility, ensuring effective and efficient deployment and utilization of all resources
  • Maintain effective control of contractors coming to site to support maintenance, capex and improvement activities
  • Drive a relentless focus on the improvement of maintenance systems
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all other areas of the business to ensure effective coordination of all plant activities in support of business objectives
  • Manage capital expenditure and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs utilizing Lean and 6 sigma Techniques, identify opportunities to improve overall production performance activity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies such as Health, Safety and Environment Performance
  • Manage Planned and Predictive Maintenance systems
  • Oversee plant and equipment capability improvements to meet current and future demands
  • Implement performance improvement activities
  • Interface with Technology, Projects, Engineering and the Supply Chain
  • Drive effective deployment and development of Maintenance and Production Support resources
  • Coordinate effective communications with employees and their representatives

    Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Engineering preferably mechanical, manufacturing or electrical or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management, shop operations and facilities
  • At least 4-5 years of leadership experience and proven ability to lead and inspire a team, maintain high morale, employee involvement & teamwork
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to train for up to 6 months in Midland, TX facility
