Role Summary:

Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading forgings, castings, wire, graphite and specialty material categories across OFS, driving $80 MM of spend, managing cost out initiatives, including supplier development in best cost countries, improving cash flow position of BH through payment terms negotiations with suppliers, lock contracts with suppliers to mitigate price increases and ensure supply continuity.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to enable growth, increase margin, reduce costs, and rationalize the supply base
  • Leads, facilitates, and implements strategic sourcing activities through a combination of tactical and strategic initiatives for assigned commodities and Product Lines
  • Participates in and supports category management activities globally, as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with S&OP, Product Line, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing organizations
  • Negotiate price, capacity, payment terms, supplier chargebacks, and additional commercial terms and conditions, etc. with suppliers to establish various levels of supply agreements
  • Drive supplier/product qualifications to successful completion
  • Contributes to detailed planning and execution of improvement actions with suppliers
  • Contributes to assessment of current risk factors & market situations (geo-political, currency, etc.) and identification of opportunities

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of Sourcing/Procurement experience
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate commercial aspects with suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage supplier relationships and long term partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Strong professional relationship building skills, and ability to interface across the entire enterprise (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PL, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP - Supply Chain / Finance modules
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization
