Role Summary:

The Bently Nevada business is a market leader in its field, with the hardware product line being the largest part of the business, behind the overall strong brand recognition associated with Bently, Nevada - thus it is a highly critical and strategic piece of the portfolio, creating "pull-through" volume for software, services and balance of plant solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Executive - Product Management, you will:
  • Work closely with Bently Nevada region teams to gain deep understanding and knowledge of market trends
  • Form deep and lasting relationships with key customers - align with decision makers and C-level representatives
  • Understand the customer KPI's and main business drivers as it pertains to the Bently Nevada business - formulate a winning strategy that capitalizes on those needs
  • Develop and maintain all Hardware Multi-Generational Product Plans
  • Ensure that all plans are aligned to an overall market backed strategy
  • Own both the organic (NPI) and inorganic (M&A) investment strategies
  • Work closely with the Product Line Leaders, the technology team, and Global Marketing team to balance the short and long term investments across the broader Bently Nevada portfolio
  • Drive all product launches as well as the sales pro-forma associated with each new product
  • Drive all necessary industry standards, understand resulting CTQ's and relate them to the product portfolio
  • Work closely with marketing and region teams to understand all competitive strategies as well as the likely responses from our own product placements and commercial moves
  • Be responsible for delivering the orders, sales, and margin operating for all Bently Hardware; support strategic analysis and inputs for key business operating events such as, mid-range and long range plans

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (OR High school Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 14 years of industrial experience with knowledge of various asset including 10 years of experience with design, service, product management and/or commercial application in power generation and/or Oil & Gas)
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial experience with knowledge of various asset
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel 25% of the time, as required

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive business leadership experience desired
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate
  • Experience leading the development / marketing / commercialization of product / service solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in aggressively and successfully growing a new product line, market or business
  • Strong business acumen and management experience (including the ability to effectively direct the business's overall operations in order to maximize revenues and profit)
  • Strong financial acumen and in-depth knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • MS / MBA or global equivalent
  • Prior experience leading a full P&L including Commercial, Product and Functional teams
  • Experience across multiple functional areas such as marketing, product development, project management, contracts and operations
  • Successful record of growing revenue (domestic or international)
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to build rapport at all levels internally / externally
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate at senior business levels, and the ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
  • Ability to work globally
