Position Summary

We are looking for a Global Continuous Improvement Leader in Kuala Lumpur. You will own overall global strategy and deployment of global processes related to people operations enterprise standards in solid alignment global leadership team. Implement, monitor and enhance process controls and overall segregation of duties at a global level. Liaise with compliance, controllership audit teams and tax regulatory bodies to fulfil requirements and establish solid governance. Own LEAN, six sigma, and project management culture and deployment strategy. Centralize ownership of knowledge & content management global repository. Own all KPIs as well as rhythm and reviews cadence with key stakeholders. Global budget oversight.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Own the Process and Controls strategy and deployment across the organization, including but not limited to implementation of systems, tools and processes for all People Operations activities in close partnership with the delivery teams
  • Liaise with key stakeholders - within the HR function and beyond - as we continue to build our global centers as well as ensure compliant delivery. Examples are: Data Privacy, Tax, Controllership
  • Drive Compliance awareness and certification process across People Operations
  • Own the controllership agenda for People Operations in a centralized fashion - provide overarching leadership liaising with audit bodies (internal and external) to ensure minimum requirements, as well as key control points are implemented and adhered to establishing consistency across all processes, globally
  • Enable and drive a compliance driven culture through a centralized repository knowledge sharing, training and continuous learning
  • Work with the Transition teams to determine the impact of proposed initiatives on process and controls, adjusting if applicable
  • Partner with key stakeholders (both internally and externally) to leverage best practices including stakeholder training
  • Lead new initiatives. Oversee global budget and centralize all Project Management activities for People Operations

    Team under this leader will be responsible for (below): initially starts small BUT will expand overtime
  • Project Management, Process Improvement, Budgeting & KPIs, Governance & Compliance, Knowledge & Content Management, Policy Management, Vendor Management, Change & Comms



Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. MBA a plus
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues. Proven track record of successfully liaising with Compliance, Controllership, Financial and Tax teams
  • Significant people and team leadership and process management experience in an operational environment - global teams preferred
  • Experienced in establishing and managing key performance indicators, control points, RCAs and effective deployment of a strong learning culture based on growth mindset principles
  • Experienced in successfully delivering global projects in a complex matrix environment
  • Strong communication & relationship building skills at all levels of the organization across multiple functions - key stakeholder management
  • Strong influencing & negotiation skills. Able to manage a multi-layered stakeholder landscape
  • Experience in operationalizing LEAN and six sigma methodology in a global environment. Master Black Belt desired
  • Strong change management skills
  • Ability to conceptualize new initiatives
  • Strategic thinking / business acumen
