Role Summary:

Baker Hughes has taken an exciting new turn on how it services the Fracturing Additives (Well Chemical Solutions) market with a renewed focus on differentiating chemistries supported by the Baker Hughes long legacy of technical superiority.

This position will be reporting to the North American Director of Upstream Chemicals, this person will develop and execute the strategy of utilizing Baker Hughes unique chemical offering in the Well Chemical Market. The primary focus will be on well fracturing activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Manage a team of sales and technical professionals across North America
  • Develop the short, mid and long term strategies and be responsible for executing the strategy
  • Hire and develop personnel who can support the growth strategy
  • Identify and fill the technical gaps of the product line through strong engagement with Baker Hughes Research and Development group.

 


Qualifications/Requirements:

 

 

 

 

  • Professional leader capable with a strong understanding for the Well Chemical Solutions market
  • Capable of preparing, presenting and executing the strategy for growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of Financial metrics with experience in managing a P&L
  • Capable of interacting with internal stakeholders and functional support while supporting revenue growth.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 additional years of experience in Chemical Industry - special consideration will be made towards Fracturing Chemicals experience.
  • Develop long range forecast for region resource needs.
  • Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training.
  • Involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for the business unit. Major contribution to the strategic plan of higher unit.
  • Presents to top leadership in the business solutions (Sr. Management and/or Vice President) on technical discipline and business solutions.
  • Works with cross business teams.
  • Engages in complex long-term processes with selected customer base.
