The role provides engineering expertise to Air BP Nordics on vehicles; the role support theVehicle TAs in Performance Units (PUs) and manage the Nordics vehicle projects. You will provide technical guidance ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable and compliant maintained refuellers and dispensers. You'll be delivering specific engineering support for the mobile fleet. Vehicle Engineer

If you join our Nordics Engineering team, you may have the following responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering expertise to Air BP Nordics on vehicles
  • Provide technical guidance ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable and compliant maintained refuellers and dispensers
  • Deliver specific engineering support for the mobile fleet
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Air BP operating standards in accordance with industry practice, BP Group regulations and local legislation
  • Follow up the VEHC 10 standard and any proposed modifications or changes in Technical Bulletins
  • Support and approve IA on non-routine operations, and know the vehicle task packs (operation, inspection, testing, maintenance and training of these subjects)
  • Ensure Air BP Nordics vehicle incidents are investigated, communicated and lessons learned, and that TSA regarding vehicle related topics are followed up in accordance with the contract in agreement with the TSA manager
  • Provide coaching and guidance on issues from operations, HSSE and product quality and carry out local training as required
  • Carry out site visits, outside of maintenance activities, to ensure sites are operating to the stated requirements of Air BP and to assist and coach site staff in case of operational issues
  • Keep overview of the condition of vehicles and include vehicle risks from VECH 20 in Site Risk Register


In the Vehicle Engineering role, we have the following requirements:
  • 3-5 years of technical and operational vehicle experience
  • Excellent Scandinavian and English language skills
  • Flexibility - the role requires 25-50% travelling (to Nordic countries and Germany)
  • Practical and analytical mindset
  • Good team spirit, dynamism and adaptability
  • We are waiting for Nordics-based applicants (no relocation support)
