Our Client is looking for a Graduate Marketing Analyst for an initial 6 month contract position, located in Aberdeen.

ROLE

Our client is an Aberdeen based Marketing Agency that is about to enter its fifth year of business. Founded in 2015 it has grown consistently since start up to comprise a core team of nine people and an extended team of fourteen. The team consists of designers, web developers, PR specialists, marketing specialists and account managers. All of the marketing specialists are degree qualified in marketing or in a related subject. The business is on target in terms of matching a planned growth path and has ambitions to double in size by mid 2020. It specialises in servicing the marketing needs of small and medium sized customers and currently services in excess of 250 repeat customers in the North East of Scotland.

The Agency offers a range of integrated services with the core aim of helping other businesses grow: services are divided into the following business lines in order to manage activity: web development, seo, web hosting, public relations, video marketing and photography, traditional marketing, digital marketing, advertising and consultancy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Agency has a requirement for someone to join the marketing team. It is likely that 70% of the role would involve servicing the varied client base by providing marketing services with a strong emphasis on digital marketing or PR. The successful candidate would work as part of a team but may be given key accounts to support together with an account manager. An element of the role would be to contribute to the Agency's own marketing efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates should hold a degree qualification or similar in either marketing, journalism or PR and have good subject matter knowledge of digital / marketing practices and strong written English skills.
  • Accreditation in platforms such as Google, Facebook and You Tube would be advantageous.
