Who We Are Looking For




Act as a key member in the SCM Corporate Support Team and be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining all related business processes, tools (systems) and documentation to support the delivery of best in class supply chain management. SCM is currently engaged in a restructure and efficiency initiative which has identified the end to end supply chain as an area in which there are major opportunities for improvement. The key focus of this initiative is on improving procurement and logistics practices and reducing administrative effort. The successful candidate will work with the SCM - Systems and Processes' team to deliver updated business processes, identify interdependencies with other functions and implement a tailored solution to meet the requirements of the business





  • Work as a key member in the SCM Support team and act as the system and process authority within the team

  • Work with SCM Systems & Processes to understand system and process related changes and implement change management methods to communicate, educate and coach users, mitigating risk and resistance

  • Ensure that business requirements and scope of work for projects are understood and documented Throughout this, any risks should be highlighted and taken into account for future design work

  • Be able to benchmark suggested solutions/process changes against best practice for procurement, inventory and transportation management

  • Train and coach regional Key Users and SAP Co-ordinators to develop and enhance their system and process capabilities, improving problem solving aptitude. Facilitate group instruction and conduct structured on-the-job coaching and development as needed

  • Promote effective communication and good working relationships with SAP Support, Training and Business Units

  • Maintain awareness of SCM best practices related to the area of responsibility and act as a functional expert in these matters


Key Skills & Experience

  • Supply Chain Management background with strong process knowledge and analytical skills

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably with Oil & Gas experience

  • SAP skills in SCM, FI (A/P) and E&M related transactions

  • SAP Module experience: MM, WM, RLM, SD (directly), FI and PM (indirectly)

  • Business analytical skills

  • Strong testing skills (UAT, unit and regression testing)

  • Documentation skills (process flows, work instructions and test scripts)

  • Demonstrate competence in SCM methodologies

  • Strong focus on SCM with the ability to interface with other functions at various levels to achieve objectives

  • Must be well organised, proactive and a good communicator

  • Must speak and write fluent English
