    Role Summary:

    The Flow Quality Leader of the SPC Staff will serve the organization of Surface Pressure Controls. This new role will be responsible for both staff management of SPC quality and operational responsibility for quality controls (QC) for all sites in NAM. The role will drive product quality assurance and quality control processes across the Flow business product life cycle.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    In this role Flow Quality Leader and SPC Staff, you will:
    • Leadership of the Global Quality staff function for the Surface Pressure Controls business,
    • Be responsible for development of appropriate strategy, methods and systems to deliver high quality standards from the ITO/bidding, execution in the manufacturing to customer support
    • Accountable for supplier's quality and enabling functions, within the product line including the Management System, certifications and Continuous Improvement projects.
    • Direct tactical responsibility (one level down) for quality inspectors for the NAM-Flow sites:
    • Development of leaner approval process, reducing defects and preventing the non-conformances, acting directly towards execution, re-designing fit for purpose quality control systems and processes for the service sites
    • Fully accountable for Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction actions and reporting
    • Owner of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and associated audit program for SPC.
    • Drive preventative actions and programs for defects reduction on the "shop floor", projects (knowledge of PFMEA/PPAP, Process Control, etc)
    • Continuous improvement programs and associated tools & processes.
    • Participating in the Product Line leadership team to ensure effective Quality functional integration with business priorities & issues. Point of escalation for customers relating to Quality issues and improvements within projects, products & services.
    • Developing, align and implement the quality strategy in partnership with the business.
    • Owning CIR Customer Issues Resolution ensuring they are executed in timely manner with relevant containment and preventive actions.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that all Regulatory and Industry Standards are met across assigned operations.
    • Maintain all quality certifications and implement as required new/upcoming changes (ISO 9001:2015, API Q2)


    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Science from accredited college or university
    • 10 years of experience in Quality
    • Strong communication & executive presentation skills
    • Travel 50% of the time, as required
