Role Summary/Purpose:

The Assembly Manufacturing Engineer deals with all projects and initiatives in Assembly Area

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will:
  • Provide Manufacturing Engineer activities in Assembly Area developing and supporting Shop Routines, Assembly Tools capability analysis, Instruction Sheets, Equipment Improvement and Shop Fixture design.
  • Act with Lean Six Sigma approach, evaluate MFG Process and drive strategic projects to improve processes capabilities, quality, fulfillment, safety and productivity. Connect with Quality, Planner and Suppliers to manage and collect First Piece and Special Process Qualification.
  • Work with Mfg Engineers in other Baker Hughes sites to leverage existing manufacturing process technology and spread the use of innovations and best practices developed around the world
  • Partner with Design Engineering to deliver Process Development, Manufacturing Analysis and FMEA Risk Assessment
  • Collaborate with assembly related functions helping development and industrialization of NPI Product/projects

  • Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Assembly of Turbomachinery Equipment
  • Knowledge of Baker Hughes TPS Products and Solutions
  • Knowledge of Baker Hughes IT Tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Fluency both in English and Italian is mandatory
  • EU Work Permit
