Position Description:

Upstream Continuing Excellence (UCE) is actively seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator.

As the successful candidate, you will provide safety and risk management expertise across the business and regional operations to ensure sharing best practice and preferred procedures.

You will be expected' to identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices; develop hazard control procedures, and programs. In addition, you will provide guidance on hazard controls and related programs; measure, audit, and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard controls and related processes using our internal software.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or in a related field.

You will have a minimum of 9 years related safety experience and/or training, preferably in oil/gas industry.

Demonstrate experience of implementing EH&S systems and processes across multiple facilities, and develop partnerships at various levels of the organization.

Strong presentation skills with experience of presenting ideas and concepts to diverse audiences including senior executives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be expected to:-

Work in conjunction with management to develop and implement specific and measurable risk management objectives.

Conduct Inspections, Field Observations, and Safety Processes such as, conduct safety assessments, inspections and field observations.

Assist with the development of safety training programs, policies, and procedures.

Develop and lead safety training to ensure knowledge transfer to the field; and mentor the field compliance team in the areas of health and safety.

Investigate incidents and near misses, and perform root cause analysis when required.

Compile safety data and provide management reports on the safety activities, and results.

Be able to think and act strategically, but be willing to roll up your sleeves to handle activities in the field, and have a good understanding of behavior-based safety and operational excellence; grasp concepts and implications of emerging trends.
