Role Summary:

The Digital Solutions (DS) Indirect Sourcing Operations Leader will provide leadership and direction for defining and implementing systems and tools to support the Product Company's indirect purchasing operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Sourcing Initiatives Specialist, you will:

  • Team up with the Product Company sourcing operations as well as BH headquarter source-to-pay teams and drive use of common tools and processes
  • Enable product company indirect sourcing to measure key performance indicators (KPI) and support executing on operational strategy
  • Actively be involved in designing, preparing requirements & managing implementation of new indirect purchasing platform and various other indirect purchasing supporting tools
  • Provide operational support to Product Company's global indirect sourcing network by owning and maintaining respective tools and processes through close collaboration with HQ and PC operations functions and S2P teams
  • Work with key functional partners to continue to develop the strategy, prioritize goals & objectives to optimize process while maintaining or exceeding current standards
  • Lead a main project - in partnership with HQ project management team, for DS to implement defined purchase-to-pay tool
  • Lead the DS product company initiative for improving small value items purchasing process, including maximizing existing functionalities of SAP, expanding purchasing card usage globally
  • As part of projects execution:
    - Review business processes prior to implementation to help identify GAP/Fit of tools & interfaces for each operating unit as defined under the scope of implementation
    - Support business requirement gathering, training, SIT & UAT needs
    -Work with Super Users and business leads during the implementation phase to ensure comprehensive understanding of new tools/processes
  • Support stakeholder management with regards to engagement, change, and funding
  • Push global standards & demonstrate Go Lean to Stay Fast principles.
  • Drive KPIs through successful implementation of processes and practices, including tracking progress and report out on the responsible work stream
  • Manage Ariba-related metrics and analytics to identify opportunities, trends and improve usage


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited or university
  • Some experience in strategic or operational indirect materials sourcing role

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel 10% of the time, as required


Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in supporting sourcing operations with multiple ERP systems and diverse geographical presence.
  • Knowledge of Ariba indirect purchasing platform with solid user experience, preferred project implementation experience
  • Knowledge of SAP functions related to indirect purchasing, preferred DS SAP product lines Source to Pay processes
  • Comfortable introducing new tools/processes to internal customers and suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to execute effectively with multiple matrixed teams and build consensus/ actions
  • Process simplification experience to ease system implementation efforts for ongoing global rollouts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Oracle knowledge is a plus
