Our Client is looking for a Labourer - Pipe Shop for a contract position, located in Dyce

ROLE

Responsible for moving components, general labouring and general housekeeping, firstly within the overall Fabrication Department and also the Manufacturing plant where required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe movement of raw materials from holding areas to shop / warehouse and between departments
• Safe and timely movement of work in progress and completed work in and around the site
• Forklift driving
• Housekeeping duties - inside and outside; machine clean downs, waste removal, skip emptying, and snow clearing
• Driving duties using various vehicles as required, including pick-up, van and pool cars
• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished components
• Protection of semi-finished and finished components
• Assist final assembly grinding and completion of tubulars when required
• Steam cleaning tasks, disassemble connectors / protectors for power-wash, and degrease parts prior to welding
• Unloading delivery of welding consumables to Pipe Shop welding store and booking delivery into vendor machine, keeping stock levels correct

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum

• B2 Forklift Training
• Clean Driving Licence
• Experience within a similar role
• Good house keeping
• Health & Safety awareness
• Punctual
• Self-motivated
• Good team player
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work shift patterns if required

Preferred

• Lifting and Slinging
• Abrasive Wheels
• Experience within the Manufacturing industry
• Previous use of semi auto grinding machines
