Assemble electromechanical products utilizing mechanical and electrical schematic drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.

Ensure finished product meets all specification requirements and passes quality inspection.

Be accountable for completing Work Orders on time per router requirements.

Document all direct and indirect labor hours in applicable database.

Responsible to audit parts issues on work order against physical inventory for each work order.

Maintain a regular path of communication with the Supervisor/ Manager and report any issues that may ultimately effect on-time-delivery including missing inventory, documentation issues, shop equipment and supplies, or any other issues preventing completion of the work order.

Comply with all Quality Control policies in relation to Control of Documentation, Calibration, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) policies.

As part of the NCR (Non-conformance review) procedure identify and communicate defects in material, or documentation issues to Manufacturing Engineering Dept.

Maintain a safe and productive workspace utilizing 5S principles.

Be available to work overtime as required by Supervisor/Manager.

Complete all required certifications and training as mandated for this position, including the latest version of IPC-610, and Radiation Training.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

  • Ability to interpret and follow Work Instructions and Assembly Procedures
  • Ability to read and understand Electronic and Mechanical Schematics
  • Ability to solder surface mount and through hole components per IPC-610 specs.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • High school education or GED.
  • Min 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or repair environment
  • The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
