Role Summary:

In the role of Production Quality Assurance Specialist, you will:

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead Non-conforming material program in the Longmont project shop
  • Be the voice of quality and ear of quality within the Longmont project shop
  • Track audit program implementation and follow up findings, continuous improvement investigations and CAPAs
  • Support effective quality metrics to all Longmont functions (e.g. Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.)
  • Work with Chief Engineer's Office to perform cross-functional Root Cause Analysis on customer issues, findings, non-conformances, field returns and product performance issues
  • Facilitate Stop-the-Line corrective and preventive actions
  • Employ ISO and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cost of failure, improve quality of delivered solutions, and increase net promoter scores
  • Audit departments to the QMS, to verify procedure validity, functional compliance, and discover improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the QMS by supporting cross-functional projects
  • Assist in developing, facilitating and reviewing LEAN projects
  • Assist with Document Management processes
  • Be an expert at SAP to set up quality workflows and pull and analyze data - understand key architecture / tables

  • Associate's Degree in Technology or Business from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of quality related experience working in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
  • Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
  • Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Be subjected to the typical assembly environment for extended periods of time
