Role Summary:

As the Director - Global P2P Operations Leader, you will be responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of contracts & operations with select BPOs for Baker Hughes. Lead & coach the Procure to Pay Regional Operations leaders for Baker Hughes. Manage and execute directives with respect to budget constraints, new industry regulations, and business demands in relation to accounts payable & invoice processing. Manage service levels, regulatory and legal compliance, and escalated cases.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Director - Global P2P Operations Leader, you will:
  • Lead the management, operations & compliance rigor of the Procure to Pay shared service process globally
  • Be responsible for critical and key KPI to include On time invoice payment, processing accuracy, quality & productivity
  • Work proactively with Product company sourcing leaders in driving processes to attain Best in class Buy to pay system
  • Manage strategic partner performance in compliance within the obligations of the contracts; approving or declining all modifications to the contract
  • Lead the review, development and modifications of procedures and third parties used for a particular shared service process
  • Lead process teams, system enhancement and process improvement projects globally to drive reduced cost, increased quality and productivity across a shared service financial process
  • Lead change management, stakeholder management and business expectation setting with stakeholders
  • Oversee compliance issue resolution in regard to the process whether managed internally or externally through outsourced vendors
  • Provide leadership for continuous process improvement initiatives to the team utilizing lean tools, and then leading implementation of recommendations
  • Ensure regulatory and internal compliance baker Hughes polices including leading Governance Audits
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise for specific process to senior management
  • Lead the development and review of supplier requirements and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Monitor & evaluate service levels and approve any action plans resulting from critical service performance failures
  • Develop and oversee implementation of corrective action plans from audits.
  • Identify system enhancements and oversee implementation of upgrades / modifications to the process where necessary

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in experience in operations or supplier management type roles

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel 25% of the time domestically and internationally, as required

Desired Characteristics:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Strong understanding of SAP and/or Oracle supplier maintenance, purchasing and invoice screens
  • Demonstrated competency with the application of Six Sigma/LEAN or related quality improvement and management tools.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
