Role Summary:

Baker Hughes is currently hiring a General Operations Support Specialist to be based in Houston, TX.

Essential responsibilities:


  • Analyzes financial reports and records, makes studies or recommendations relative to accounting reserves, assets, depreciations, leases etc
  • Develop finance reports to control and monitoring spend and other as requested.
  • Analyze spend looking opportunities to improve, develop actions plan and control the execution defining targets and due dates.
  • Tracking of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop and implement process controls. Establishes and suggest improvements in procedures. Presents reports to reflect the condition of a process.
  • Performs various internal audits, including financial/operational or information systems audits as requested
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.
  • Reports to Operation Support Leader
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with BH HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BH Culture Pillars


Qualifications / Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in finance). Business administration / Finance / Accounting (MUST)
  • Strong computer skills a must. Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, SAP, HFM (hyperium) - (MUST)
  • knowledge of financial audit procedures

  • Proven strong analytical and organizational ability.
  • Knowledge of product lines and services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to relate to personnel at all levels in the organization
