Our Client is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer, on a permanent staff basis, location in Aberdeen.

ROLE

• To provide engineering solutions and support for the fleet of mobile equipment
• Be pivotal in specifying the requirements of new Mobile Equipment assets
• Provide expertise and problem solving in the event of operational issues with mobile equipment
• Drive engineering integrity and compliance of all Mobile Equipment
• To manage the delivery of all certification and technical documentation, supported by relevant team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• Offshore certification required
• The position is primarily office based, however, there will be some opportunities to get into the workshop in Aberdeen and Leith and on occasion to a vessel / equipment mobilisation.
• Would expect the candidate to have formal engineering qualifications to degree level or equivalent.
• Working with a wide range of mobile marine and subsea installation equipment, from pipeline ploughs to equipment to support saturation diving.
