Responsible for supporting and delivering the safe operation of processes and systems in line with high HSSE standards, whilst developing technical and analytical capabilities.BP operates a number of installations within the North Sea, and is currently seeking to fill vacancies within the Operations and Maintenance teams that support these assets. The asset teams work together to optimise production whilst also maintaining the equipment which supports continued safe operation of the platform.
The normal working pattern is 12 hour shifts on a 3 weeks on, 4 weeks off, 3 weeks on, 5 weeks off pattern, mobilising offshore from Aberdeen.
Always demonstrate good safety behaviours and stop all unsafe acts witnessed.
Implement all relevant policies and procedures.
Support the safe operation of the plant through watchkeeping and condition monitoring.
Prepare, execute and close out maintenance activities as defined in the Maintenance Management System.
Act as a Performing Authority and Isolating Authority as required.
Create a clear and concise shift change handover.
Actively participate in continuous improvement processes.
Participate within the emergency control team, or fire team, as appropriate.
A minimum of an HNC, VQ level 3 in the relevant discipline.
Willingness and ability to commute offshore, which will include a helicopter flight over open water.
Ability to work offshore, on a rotational basis, on a production platform.
Demonstrated strong performance in the relevant trade discipline.
Good communications skills and ability to develop procedures, practices and strategies from first principles.
Effective problem-solving skills.
