Role Summary:

As the People Reporting & Analytics Leader, you are responsible for the ownership, design, and expert delivery of HR data reporting and analytics. You will establish and lead a global team performing advanced and complex reporting and analysis of HR data to support projects, HR processes, users, and stakeholders. You play a key role for maximizing the Workday reporting platform driving adoption and championing continuous improvement. You will partner with Digital Technology in operationalizing our BHGE data to identify actionable insights and build predictive models. Your goal is to provide a full suite reporting tool and drive user adoption.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of People Reporting & Analytics Leader, you will:

  • Thought leader in People Analytics including Workday reports, dashboards and analytics partnering with HR and business stakeholders to deliver on initiatives
  • Understand and utilize full suite of HR technology bridging data to drive business decisions
  • Leader in evaluation, reporting, analysis to understand effectiveness of new initiatives and identify trends and make predictions
  • Provide high level consulting to identify data needs, develop and support reporting tool enhancements and prepare reports and reporting solution specifications
  • Communicate recommendations on initiatives and influence leaders through data, analytics, and thoughtful interpretation of findings
  • Able to communicate and influence stakeholders across organization for operational efficiency
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership to align Business Strategy with the HR function. Develops and delivers strategic reporting and analytics roadmap
  • Externally focused and understands concepts of data analytics, predictive analytics and trend analysis both within Baker Hughes and external market
  • Work with technology/security teams to define and create calculated fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization
  • Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting HR reporting and analytics inquires/issues
  • Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality
  • Establish KPIs using data and formal measurement channels to track the performance impact of workforce solutions on business outcomes and continuously improve and adapt services/offerings to meet the changing requirements of the business
  • Uses data stories to clearly and effectively communicate insights and/ or recommendations to a diverse set of audiences in a way that moves them to action
  • Promotes a digital mind-set (e.g., values, principles, and practices) across the organization to utilize analytics that enable the workforce and create value for the business


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with at least 9 years of analytics experience).
  • Minimum 5 years analytics experience

  • Foundational understanding of complex ERP environment, HR systems architecture and database concepts

  • Functional knowledge of Workday HR modules including Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management
  • Previous experience in HR Operations, HR Technologies or HR Reporting
  • Previous experience with Workday Report Writer
  • Knowledge of Workday data sources and complex calc fields
  • Experience with the following: Tableau, Regulatory Reporting Requirements, SOX and Compliance Requirements
